BATS Entertainment! 8-9 December 2005
BATS Entertainment! was a show of two halves, and directed by Mel Such. The first half was based on the TV show ‘Stars in their Eyes’ where contestants impersonated famous acts and the winner was chosen from an audience ‘clapometer’; in our version, the audience voted on paper slips during the interval and the winner was announced and performed again at the end! We had two presenters who were trained by the wonderful Len Annikin, a regular performer with BATS.
The second half included songs from ‘Grease’ and Christmas songs.
The show was performed at Central Studio, Queen Mary’s College, Basingstoke.
