5 – 6 AUGUST 2022

Rehearsed, set, choreographed and finished in ten working days, the cast and creative team performed this iconic musical over four performances in August 2022.  A totally different format to the usual weekly rehearsals, once the cast had been selected from auditions in May, they learnt their lines then came together for two weeks to put the show together.  This included designing and sourcing costumes, building the set and arranging the mic and lighting plot – all valuable additional skills the young cast learnt as well as performing.  The show was performed over four performances at Central Studio and won a NODA Accolade of Musical Excellence in June 2023.
