JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT

29 – 31 OCTOBER 2015

QUEEN MARY’S HALL, BASINGSTOKE

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat was performed at Queen Mary’s Hall, Queen Mary’s College, Basingstoke and was Directed by Next Genner, Nicholas Brannam.  Musical Director was Rachel Glover.

The show saw our biggest cast to date, with 55 young people making up the cast, including a choir of 14 young people of primary school age.

Highlights of the show included the two leads, Narrator and Joseph being played by brother and sister, Jack and Hazel Baldwin; the fantastic lighting provided by Viking Lighting and Joseph’s motorised chariot, a temporarily converted mobility scooter!  Much fun was had by Jack and Steve Brannam when taking delivery of it from Shopmobility – taking turns riding it through Basingstoke Town Centre up to The Haymarket!  We raised a lovely sum of money for Shopmobility from collections at the end of the shows. We also collected for Naomi House and Jack’s Place, both who were supporting the family of one of our performers who had a child with a life-shortening condition.

NODA awarded us a Runners Up Certificate for Best Youth Musical for our production.
